Originally from Cranbrook, Heidi studied international tourism in Austria and worked at various restaurants in Semmering and Vienna. Heidi returned to Cranbrook with a passion for food and in 1999 Heidi’s Restaurant was opened in Cranbrook, BC. It quickly became renowned for its fine cuisine and customer service with community input and feedback being the focus since the beginning. In 2013 Heidi’s closed its doors and went through a complete renovation and The Heid Out was born, alongside sister company Fisher Peak Brewing.
Whether you’re making the trip to celebrate a big event or if it’s simply a stop in the midst of a long road trip you’ll find what you need here. From authentic South Indian Masala to our old favourite, Jäeger Schnitzel. They pull from the experience of their five Red Seal chefs in the kitchen coupled with award winning Fisher Peak beers, brewed in house and served right from the tanks downstairs.
