Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden

The Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden is a registered museum set in the heart of Vancouver’s historic Chinatown. Named the World’s Top City Garden by National Geographic, it is the first classical Chinese garden built outside of China, featuring a jade green pond, koi fish, 150-year-old miniature trees, and tai hu rock imported from China — all constructed in 1986 using 14th-century methods with no glue, screws, or power tools. Free guided tours and traditional Chinese tea are included with admission, making it a rich and immersive cultural experience for visitors of all ages.
