After lunch, head down to enjoy the beach: Lake Windermere is known for it’s picturesque Rocky Mountain backdrop, warm waters, and wide range of recreational activities including swimming, paddling, boating, and fishing. The popular Kinsmen Beach offers greenspace, a splash park, playground, and walking trails. In the winter, Lake Windermere has the world’s longest skating path, the Lake Windermere Whiteway. This multi-sport track offers skating, Nordic ski, skate ski, and walking paths.
