Cycling the MUP

Tofino and Ucluelet are connected via one continuous 44 km bike path with 3 distinct sections: the Multi-Use Path (MUP) from the Tofino town core, the ʔapsčiik t̓ašii (pronounced ups-cheek ta-shee) which winds through Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, and the Ucluelet bike path, which leads to the Ucluelet town center. Coast at your own cadence along the MUP and the ʔapsčiik t̓ašii. Take the time to enjoy the views between the forest and the ocean because seeing Tofino by bike is an experience not to be missed. Bring your bike of choice or find one when you arrive. There are a variety of bicycles, e-bike rentals and helmets available.
